What We Do

Steven is refinancing high-interest debt & offering more events at his gallery!

Ubuntu Fine Art Gallery, located in the heart of Historic Germantown, is a unique space where art, passion, and culture converge, offering visitors an exceptional experience centered around the South African concept of Ubuntu. Founded by Steven CW Taylor, the first Black-owned, single-artist fine art photography gallery in Philadelphia showcases diverse photographs, transforming the space into a sanctuary of creativity and inspiration. The gallery's commitment to the Ubuntu philosophy has created a welcoming and inclusive environment, drawing visitors from diverse backgrounds and fostering a sense of belonging.

Ubuntu’s customers are art lovers, collectors, and individuals seeking exclusive, special-edition pieces. To date, they have sold over 60 limited-edition artworks and hosted more than 25 events and activations, including workshops, seminars, and cultural gatherings. Their mission is to teach the meaning of Ubuntu through immersive art experiences, empowering visitors to share its message worldwide.

The business model prioritizes customer experience, high-quality art, and a sense of belonging through engaging events and activations. By upholding core values of connection, inspiration, and community, Ubuntu Fine Art Gallery aims to leave a lasting impact on visitors and contribute to the cultural landscape of Historic Germantown. They are confident that their unique offerings and commitment to art will attract people who share their vision for enriching lives through artistic expression.
