Highly Efficient, Environmentally Sustainable Mobile Stores

Our flagship utility electric vehicle (UEV) called AUTOMATO is able to serve non-traditional locations such as on sidewalks, inside buildings, and a plethora of venues within the U.S. Our technology is patent-protected, and our stellar engineering team is made up of alums from Tesla, SpaceX, Red Bull, Solarcity and Amazon.

The Story & Where We Are Today

Inventing New Ways For Businesses to Connect With Customers

Our first mobile store started when our founder dreamed up a modern-day ice cream truck and built an electric and solar-powered mobile business serving on-demand Fro-Yo. It was from this point forward that the possibilities of mobilizing all kinds of businesses came to life.

Our modern-day ice cream truck features our own handmade recipe using locally sourced organic fruit and cold-pressed juice to create a delicious non-dairy treat. With growing demand at museums and food hospitality, FRO currently serves Los Angeles Natural History Museum and La Brea Tar Pits visitors.

Since April 2023, FRO has had an 80% margin on the cost of products served and generated over $10,000 or more in revenue on a monthly basis.

We quickly saw the value in simplifying the financing, construction, and digital experiences of clean-tech mobile platforms into an all-in-one package. One mobile UEV costs a fraction of what it takes to run a storefront with utility operating costs of about $10/day with one on-site operator, and is powered by its own clean energy source – lasting up to 12 hours on one charge.

Source | Source

In addition, our UEVs have the ability to collect and store data through smart shelves and website analytics, adding a data operations component to our business model where companies can gain sales and marketing insights through our technology.

The Market & our traction

A Fast-Growing Industry and Key Partnerships in Place

The U.S. pop-up store market is currently projected to be valued at $95 billion by 2025 (Source). One of the key drivers of this growth is the adoption of flexible leases that enable merchants to connect with new consumers in a cost-effective manner.

Additionally, the businesses are opting to close physical locations due to rising overhead, inflation, and employee costs. As a result, we believe mobile pop-up stores offer a unique opportunity for innovative businesses to reach consumers in new and exciting ways.

Our technology is patent-protected, and we have built an e-commerce platform with payment processing that communicates with our UEV fleet.  We have established relationships with well-known brands including Red Bull, PATH water, and Liquid Death.

Since April 2023, we have achieved an average of $10,000+ in monthly recurring revenue with our FRO UEV.

A Mobile, Sustainable Future Where Businesses Can Thrive

BIB Technologies is envisioning a new, green, cost-effective strategy for businesses to reach their customers while overcoming the many hurdles traditional brick-and-mortar businesses face.

We plan to use this raise of funds to grow the number of mobile storefronts operating in the LA Metro area and expand our operations, engineering, and customer support teams.

We have secured FRO’s placement at the famed Los Angeles Natural History Museum & La Brea Tar Pits. Due to requests, we are transitioning our FRO storefronts into an Internal Franchise model.

BIB Technologies: Where Choice Meets Convenience

We all love options. At BIB Technologies, we're all about giving our customers the freedom to choose how they shop with our clients. That's why we offer not one but two convenient ways to get your hands on their products:

  1. Buy directly at the mobile store OR

  1. Order from your phone and pick it up later

You know who else agrees this is a good idea?

Amazon - you might have heard of them. Amazon recently released Amazon Today, where you can buy something online and then pick it up at the store.

Imagine this: Instead of waiting for a delivery to your doorstep, you can order online, select a specific store for pickup, and even try the product in-store to see if it fits perfectly. Not only does this save retailers on costly fulfillment expenses, but it also ensures that you browse what you want when you want it. Check it out for yourself! Amazon WSJ

The retail world is changing to meet customer demands and BIB Technologies is ahead of the curve.

Choice is the future of shopping - invest in BIB Technologies for a cleaner and customer-obsessed business of tomorrow!

Our Take on Clean Energy

Harnessing clean energy isn't just an option—it's a necessity.

At BIB Technologies, we're not just talking the talk; we're walking the walk. We specialize in building temperature-controlled smart "boxes" with utilities and software that enable brands to operate turnkey - saving time to get up and running.

How? We let businesses

  1. Store their energy to lower utility bills (less than $10/day includes driving AND running all appliances)

  2. Produce energy on-site with solar panels

  3. Synced energy - The smart BIB Box is like an off-grid house where IoT, appliances, and HVAC are in-sync

We're not just imagining a cleaner future; we're building it, one smart "box" at a time.

Invest early in the BIB Technologies journey - one with a proven product and customers eager to realize the cost savings that come from the power of harnessing clean energy.

The BIB Revolution: Driving Down Costs, Driving Up Profits

Imagine you're starting a frozen yogurt business near a university campus like USC in the bustling heart of Los Angeles. You want to serve students, game days and events. You're looking at the options to balance location and market demand, capital investment and growth trajectory:

Option 1:  Traditional Brick-and-Mortar Store

To set up shop in a prime LA location, your approximate costs look like this:

  • Design and Build Out Costs: $120,000 (one-time)

  • Equipment: $20,000 (one-time)

  • Overhead Rent and CAM: $6,000/mo*

  • Utilities: $4,000/mo*

  • Employee salaries: $11,000/mo*

  • Insurance: $1250/mo*

Estimated Startup Costs = $140,000
Estimated Monthly Costs = $22,250/mo

Option 2: FRO Mobile Store

  • Design and Build Out Costs AND Equipment: $75,000 (one-time)

  • Overhead Rent (Commissary): $700/mo

  • Utilities: $300/mo (powered by solar and electric energy)

  • Employee salaries: $5,500/mo (you only need one employee to run)

  • Insurance: About $300/mo

Startup Costs = $75,000
Estimated Monthly Costs = $6,800

The BIB Edge:

With our mobile storefront, you'll cut startup costs by 46% and operating costs by 69%!

  1. Location and Market Demand - Our mobile model meets customer demand wherever it's strongest. This flexibility maximizes our revenue potential.

  2. Capital investment - Startup costs for BIB's mobile stores are less than $100,000. This avoids the high capital investment often needed for traditional store setups.

  3. Growth Trajectory - A BIB mobile store is perfectly positioned for sustainable and scalable growth thanks to low overhead.

Invest today to be part of the change.

Tracking $100K in over 9 Months with 1 Part-Time Store

We're on track to reach a whopping $100,000 in income in just over 9 months! Yup you read that right - our mobile real estate platform is working part-time with our client - Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.

When we first rolled out our self-powered EV mobile stores in 2018, people questioned whether utilities and appliances could run smoothly on mobile real estate. We're proud to say we've met and exceeded those expectations!

Proving that the mobile retail game is 💪. Even as a growing Fro-yo brand, we've shown that people are totally down to shop at a mobile pop-up.

To make all of this happen, we've been working hard behind the scenes. We brought in summer interns who've been crushing it, and now new hires on board.

Our Goal: Operate 7 days a week full-time starting this month. Our new hires enable Deloss and myself to focus on our backlog of BIB mobile stores owners. More on this in the next update.

But that's not all! We're just getting started 🚗🔌 Join us in redefining mobile retail and clean energy solutions.

Hi Nanavati, Can you elaborate a bit about your "patented technology"? How may patents have been granted and are there others pending? Of those granted, are they owned by BIB Technologies or are they licensed to you? Thanks for clarifying. Blessings

Certainly happy to elaborate W! Our patent was filed in May 2019 and granted in September 2022. We've since filed additional patent continuations as we expanded our software capabilities soon after October 2022. Our patent was originally written by my co-founder, Deloss Pickett. Upon its issuance, Deloss assigned it to BIB Technologies. Alongside this, we have a trademark on "AUTOMATO" and trade secret "TRIPS" on FRO's fro-yo recipe. Here’s a direct link to the patent for a deeper dive: https://patents.google.com/patent/US11472443B2/

Hey Nanavati, This seems like an amazing product and team - I'm interested in investing, but am trying to best figure out your moonshot potential (since I know nothing about this space/tech besides it looking awesome). Can you please summarize your progress and growth since 2023 started and how your patent could hold off competition (compared to other competitors) Once the campaign closes, how often will you update investors on your progress. Also, you might not be allowed to share, but what are some possible exit opportunities you're thinking about? -Tim

Thanks Tim for your kind words in BIB and thoughtful consideration in joining the BIB investor community. Since the start of 2023, here's a summary of our progress: 1. Market Traction: February 2023, we signed the Los Angeles Natural History Museum as a client and secured La Brea Tar Pits and Museum in July. 2. Market Demand: We're receiving an average of 3 requests/week from potential clients interested in our turnkey solution including botanical garden and concert venue in the pipeline. What's particularly exciting is that we've achieved this level of traction without any marketing spend. 3. Team Expansion: We've improved our workflow efficiency by streamlining our processes with 2 summer interns. Just last week, we expanded our sales team allowing us to extend store operating hours from part-time to full-time. Part-time we're generating $10,000+/mo. 4. Product Development: Because we juggled office and field operations, we implemented smarter monitoring capabilities over the summer for our stores. We remotely monitor energy management systems and sales data through advanced software tools which paves the way for future white-label software scalability. 5. IP Strategy: We filed for additional patent continuation earlier this year to extend our key patents claims. We're owning the customer experience layer for commerce on any mobile transport with licensing terms available from robotic delivery to automotive OEMs.

Certainly - the brands are enterprise pilots for our AUTOMATO mobile store. These pilots enable us to quickly improve AUTOMATO features in real-world scenarios - at high traffic events where they are official sponsors and ongoing sales at campus locations like USC. We have similar brand relationships in the pipline seeking to private-label the AUTOMATO solution for their marketing and sales channels.

FAQS

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.

With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000 are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, they are limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.

StartEngine makes it easy to invest using your retirement funds. You can open a self-directed IRA account through Equity Trust, a trusted provider fully integrated with our platform. This integration allows for a fast, secure, and seamless investing experience, and includes a special offer on annual feesexclusively for StartEngine investors.

Already have a self-directed IRA with another provider? You can still invest on StartEngine, but please note that the process will be manual and may take longer to complete.

To get started, simply visit our IRA page for more information and step-by-step instructions.

At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.

Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.

StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.

For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.

For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancellation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancellation policy. You may find the company’s cancellation policy in the company’s offering circular.

Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.

Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to be sent back to the account associated with the investment.

Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements. To learn more about Regulation Crowdfunding, click here, and for Regulation A+, click here.

StartEngine Marketplace (“SE Marketplace”) is a website operated by StartEngine Primary, LLC (“SE Primary”), a broker-dealer that is registered with the SEC and a member of FINRA and the SIPC.

StartEngine Secondary (“SE Secondary”) is our investor trading platform. SE Secondary is an SEC-registered Alternative Trading System (“ATS”) operated by SE Primary that matches orders for buyers and sellers of securities. It allows investors to trade shares purchased through Regulation A+, Regulation Crowdfunding, or Regulation D for companies who have engaged StartEngine Secure LLC as their transfer agent. The term “Rapid,” when used in relation to transactions on SE Marketplace, specifically refers to transactions that are facilitated on SE Secondary, This is because, unlike with trades on the StartEngine Bulletin Board (“SE BB”), trades on SE Secondary are executed the moment that they are matched.

StartEngine Bulletin Board (“SE BB”) is a bulletin board platform on which users can indicate to each other their interest to buy or sell shares of private companies that previously executed Reg CF or Reg A offerings not necessarily through SE Primary. As a bulletin board platform, SE BB provides a venue for investors to access information about such private company offerings and connect with potential sellers. All investment opportunities on SE BB are based on indicated interest from sellers and will need to be confirmed. Even if parties express mutual interest to enter into a trade on SE BB, a trade will not immediately result because execution is subject to additional contingencies, including among others, effecting of the transfer of the shares from the potential seller to the potential buyer by the issuer and/or transfer agent. SE BB is distinct and separate from SE Secondary. SE Secondary facilitates the trading of securities by matching orders between buyers and sellers and facilitating executions of trades on the platform. By contrast, under SE BB, SE Primary assists with the facilitation of a potential resulting trade off platform including, by among other things, approaching the issuer and other necessary parties in relation to the potential transaction. The term “Extended”, when used in relation to transactions on SE Marketplace denotes that these transactions are conducted via SE BB, and that these transactions may involve longer processing times compared to SE Secondary for the above-stated reasons.

Even if a security is qualified to be displayed on SE Marketplace, there is no guarantee an active trading market for the securities will ever develop, or if developed, be maintained. You should assume that you may not be able to liquidate your investment for some time or be able to pledge these shares as collateral.
