TEAM

Felicia Jackson

Felicia Jackson • CEO & President

Felicia Jackson, a resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee, is a wife, mother, entrepreneur, and inventor of the disposable CPR template, CPRWrap. With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, she holds an A.A.S. Degree from Chattanooga State College and worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

After experiencing a traumatic incident with her 2-year-old son firsthand, Felicia had a vision of a product that could help save lives. She was certified in BLS CPR but froze when her toddler son experienced a medical emergency in the back seat of their car. Thanks to the quick actions of her husband, who is an Army Veteran, their son survived, but Felicia learned a valuable lesson and walked away with a new mission. She sought help from SCORE, LAUNCH CHA, COLAB, and Techstars. After graduating, she debuted the CPRWrap to the world. To date, her invention has been featured in Forbes, Business Insider, Inc. Magazine, Medium, and many more. Most recently, Felicia was the winner of the Pitch for Good: Tennessee Tough Competition to receive a yearlong sponsorship with the Tennessee Titans.

Felicia is currently working hard to make CPRWrap accessible to everyone so that performing CPR is less intimidating. Companies such as CHI Memorial Hospital (Cardiac Rehab), TVA, Chattanooga Police Dept, School Health, Hamilton Co School Systems, and many other companies have signed on to carry CPRWrap as part of their health and safety protocol for their employees and the community.

“Emergency situations can cause panic and leave people unsure of how to help. I hope CPRWrap takes away that fear and in turn empowers people to save lives.”

Reasons to Invest

  • The Medical Device Industry is a $425 Billion Industry and is expected to increase to $612 Billion by 2025.
  • Over 350,000 Americans suffer from cardiac arrest each year. Only about 46% of those people get immediate help that they need before professional help arrives
  • CPR Wrap is unique in that we are focused on helping the non-trained/non-medical responder, which is 46% of the US population, by offering a non-tech, instructive, easy-to-use protective guide to perform basic CPR.

Overview

We are Here to Make CPR Easier

A strategically placed CPR Wrap can mean the difference between life and death while emergency help is on the way.

And Felicia Jackson, the inventor and owner of CPR Wrap, has experienced the trauma of cardiac arrest firsthand - knowing the importance of being prepared in a moment’s notice.

Although she was certified in CPR, she froze when her toddler son stopped breathing in the back seat of her car. Thanks to the quick actions of her husband, their son survived.

But Felicia learned a valuable lesson and walked away with a new mission:

Even people experienced in CPR can forget their training in stressful situations. That’s why CPR Wrap makes it possible for anyone to effectively perform CPR immediately.

With over 20 years of medical experience, Felicia is applying her knowledge to make performing CPR less intimidating and accessible to everyone.

The Problem

Every Second Counts in an Emergency, and Most People Lack Confidence When it Comes to CPR Performance

According to the American Heart Association, over 350,000 Americans suffer from cardiac arrest each year. Only 46% of those people receive CPR from bystanders.

There are several devices available to assist with CPR, yet 70% of bystanders may feel helpless and 88% of all out of hospital sudden cardiac arrests happen at home. (Source)

The Solution

A CPR Wrap in the Right Place Can Make All the Difference

CPRWrap is a simple-to-use product that addresses the problem of decreased intervention from the non-medical responder.

It’s small size, portability, and instructive features allows anyone, trained or untrained, to perform CPR until EMS arrives.

What We Do

Be Prepared in a Moment’s Notice

CPRWrap is a patented, single-use template that empowers, protects and guides any medical or non-medical responder during respiratory or cardiac emergencies that require CPR.

CPRWrap Kits have an attached one-way valve mouth barrier to offer:

  • Protection from fluid contamination and drug residue during rescue breathing

  •  Visual hand placements for proper compressions

  • Simple CPR instructions that can be translated into any language for global usage.

CPRWrap does not require batteries and you don’t need to be certified to use. In an emergency, just remove the product from its quick-open package, lay it on the chest of the sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) victim, and follow the simple instructions.

The Business Model

Business to Business to Consumer

CPRWrap is a B2B2C. And with one of our channels of distribution, we have focused on signing up CPR training facilities.

We partner with distributors that sell CPR and first aid products to CPR training facilities, hospitals, schools and government facilities. Our distributors will either combine the CPRWrap Kits in with their AED's or Stop the Bleed Kits, or sell them individually on their e-commerce platform.

Our goal is to have a major distributor in every country in the world and every state within the U.S.

As we continue to increase our visibility in that space, we will then start phasing in other markets such as

  • Schools

  • First aid kit manufacturers

  • Hospitals

  • Airlines

  • Retail

  • Licensing deals

Our landed cost to manufacture is $1 with a MSRP of $9.99 - and a gross profit margin of approximately 90%.

Our CAC for B2B is approximately $50 with sales varying from $900 to $3,500. Via our e-Commerce platform, our CAC is $17.50 with sales varying from  $38 - $ 250

How We Are Different

Our Focus is on the Everyday Person, Not Medical Professionals

Our competitors are companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Zoll, Metronics, Stryker/Philips, and other companies that produce basic CPR face shields.

We believe CPRWrap is different in that we are focused on helping the non-trained/non-medical responder, which is 46% of the US population. We offer people who need it most a non-tech, instructive, easy-to-use protective guide to perform basic CPR.

The Vision

To Be an Industry Standard - Providing a Quality, Lifesaving Product for Everyone

We feel every human has a right to live. Our goal is to empower every person to do the most basic, selfless thing a human can do - save a life.

We are also aware of the financial strains that accompany many homes, schools, hospitals, and individuals with high-risk medical issues. That's why we have partnered with many nonprofits in the United States and other countries to make sure people have the tools they need for a quality way of life.

To help the victims in remote regions of Puerto Rico during Hurricane Maria, we sent over several boxes of CPRWraps for local authorities and healthcare workers to disperse to underserved, rural communities. We also donated several boxes to homeless shelters, and shelters for women and children locally and in surrounding cities.

Our vision for CPRWrap in the next 3 years is to become a mandated, recognized and trusted brand for emergencies that require CPR.

We are working to be in every home, airline, business, classroom, first aid kit and AED worldwide.

OUR LEADERSHIP

A Team of Passion, Purpose and Determination

CPRWrap inventor and owner, Felicia Jackson, has insight on both sides of the spectrum of being a medical professional and a mother. Thus, she has experienced loss but also has experienced a life saved due to intervention.

With over 20 years of medical experience in acute inpatient rehab, outpatient care and home health care while working in the ER and as a Physical Therapist Assistant - she also sought help from many qualified business mentors/advisors to learn how to launch a successful company.

Here’s some background on those mentors:

Greg Compton, Advisor -  Greg is a mentor and advisor who has specialties in accounting, marketing, business development, operations, and process Improvement. His 20+ year career has been spent almost exclusively working within startups as a founder, executive, investor, or consultant. A native of Kentucky, Compton was a member of the Kentucky Air National Guard 123rd Civil Engineering squad from 2001-2009. He holds an MBA (Marketing and Entrepreneurship) from University of Tennessee Knoxville and a BS in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University.

Andy Dunn, Investor - Founder of Bonobos, Dunn is another mentor Jackson met after being invited to participate in The Heartland Summit in Bentonville, AK with the Waltons and many other notable organizations. Since then, Dunn has been an integral part of CPRWrap as a friend, confidant, and now an investor.

StartEngine Marketplace (“SE Marketplace”) is a website operated by StartEngine Primary, LLC (“SE Primary”), a broker-dealer that is registered with the SEC and a member of FINRA and the SIPC.

StartEngine Secondary (“SE Secondary”) is our investor trading platform. SE Secondary is an SEC-registered Alternative Trading System (“ATS”) operated by SE Primary that matches orders for buyers and sellers of securities. It allows investors to trade shares purchased through Regulation A+, Regulation Crowdfunding, or Regulation D for companies who have engaged StartEngine Secure LLC as their transfer agent. The term “Rapid,” when used in relation to transactions on SE Marketplace, specifically refers to transactions that are facilitated on SE Secondary, This is because, unlike with trades on the StartEngine Bulletin Board (“SE BB”), trades on SE Secondary are executed the moment that they are matched.

StartEngine Bulletin Board (“SE BB”) is a bulletin board platform on which users can indicate to each other their interest to buy or sell shares of private companies that previously executed Reg CF or Reg A offerings not necessarily through SE Primary. As a bulletin board platform, SE BB provides a venue for investors to access information about such private company offerings and connect with potential sellers. All investment opportunities on SE BB are based on indicated interest from sellers and will need to be confirmed. Even if parties express mutual interest to enter into a trade on SE BB, a trade will not immediately result because execution is subject to additional contingencies, including among others, effecting of the transfer of the shares from the potential seller to the potential buyer by the issuer and/or transfer agent. SE BB is distinct and separate from SE Secondary. SE Secondary facilitates the trading of securities by matching orders between buyers and sellers and facilitating executions of trades on the platform. By contrast, under SE BB, SE Primary assists with the facilitation of a potential resulting trade off platform including, by among other things, approaching the issuer and other necessary parties in relation to the potential transaction. The term “Extended”, when used in relation to transactions on SE Marketplace denotes that these transactions are conducted via SE BB, and that these transactions may involve longer processing times compared to SE Secondary for the above-stated reasons.

Even if a security is qualified to be displayed on SE Marketplace, there is no guarantee an active trading market for the securities will ever develop, or if developed, be maintained. You should assume that you may not be able to liquidate your investment for some time or be able to pledge these shares as collateral.
