metaKnyts is an open, edutainment franchise using blockchain technologies to give people ownership of digital episodes and other saga items. People can buy, earn and build upon these digital items within and independently of the saga.
All metaKnyts episodes and associated digital items can be brought, tracked, and traded peer to peer on the blockchain automatically without intermediaries, resulting in more freedom, creativity, transparency, and fraud resistance for customers.

Digital assets are locked in closed platforms that cause them to lose value over time
Today’s comic and gaming media industry is massive, creating more value than the music and film industry combined. However, current blockbusters like Marvel Heroes or Fortnite are closed systems where the value created by readers, fans and gamers is locked into the publisher’s platforms.
If a title is discontinued or users move on to a new franchise, this value is lost and cannot be transferred to new platforms. We are pleased to announce that the metaKnyts claim site is now live. We know many of our investors have had difficulty getting their NFT perks for investing in metaKnyts. This has been a labor-intensive process for us that has not always worked out well for you our investors. As such we are pleased to announce that you can now claim your metaKnyts NFTs directly yourself at metaKnyts.me.
CONNECT YOUR WALLET TO CLAIM YOUR NFTs TODAY
You will need a crypto wallet to claim your NFT but we are pleased to also announce that we have expanded to now include a variety of different wallets that you can use to claim your NFT via Wallet Connect. These include MetaMask, Coinbase and many others.
You will need to connect your wallet to the Polygon Mainnet and have Polygon Matic crypto currency in your wallet to pay the gas fees to make your claim. The gas fees for claiming your NFT are nominal (less than $0.05c) but you will need to have Polygon Matic crypto currency in your wallet to complete the transaction.
We will shortly be sending out a video showing you how to claim your NFT but in the meantime if you have your wallet ready and have at least 0.06 Matic (1MATIC = $0.85 today), then you can connect your wallet and mint your metaKnyts NFTs today.
You will need to use the email address and phone number you used to purchase your shares on StartEngine to make your claim. When you connect your wallet your public key will be automatically read so you don’t need to enter this. After you enter your details, you should select InvestorKnyt Reg CF 1.0 from the Select Type menu option.
NEW NFTs FOR ALL OUR INVESTORS
If you have already provided us with your public key and have already been sent a metaKnyts NFT you can still use the site to make an additional claim. We have created a special animated InvestorKnyt NFT that we are issuing to all our investors. This NFT will grant you access to additional benefits in the future such as priority access to mints, access to the Order of Metaiye, priority access to the metaKnyts metaVerse game, etc. so be sure to claim yours. We are also issuing all investors with a copy of our inaugural Pilot Episode metaKnyts #0 as an NFT as a further token of our appreciation for your patience and support. This means some of you will end up with more than 1 copy of the pilot Episode metaKnyts #0, which is fine with us. You might now want to pass your extra one along to someone you love for Christmas!
If you have invested in our current Reg CF Campaign 2 you should enter your details and select InvestorKnyt Reg CF 2.0 in the Select Type menu. Campaign 2.0 investors get both pilot episodes metaKnyts #0 and metaKnyts #1. Neither of these episodes are currently only available in print so the only way you can get them as NFTs is to invest.

I've recently went in to review and update payment and find not only am I still on the waiting list, but there is another offering about to close on today. I didn't have the time to go through all of the comments about Start Engine not updating you on whose interested and have made commitment at the minimum level, back in 2021. If this is closing and I'm not going to be able to be a part of this, please let me know so that I can close the waitlisted account.

With Regulation A+, a non-accredited investor can only invest a maximum of 10% of their annual income or 10% of their net worth per year, whichever is greater. There are no restrictions for accredited investors.
With Regulation Crowdfunding, non-accredited investors with an annual income or net worth less than $124,000 are limited to invest a maximum of 5% of the greater of those two amounts. For those with an annual income and net worth greater than $124,000, they are limited to investing 10% of the greater of the two amounts.
At the close of an offering, all investors whose funds have “cleared” by this time will be included in the disbursement. At this time, each investor will receive an email from StartEngine with their Countersigned Subscription Agreement, which will serve as their proof of purchase moving forward.
Please keep in mind that a company can conduct a series of “closes” or withdrawals of funds throughout the duration of the campaign. If you are included in that withdrawal period, you will be emailed your countersigned subscription agreement and proof of purchase immediately following that withdrawal.
StartEngine assists companies in raising capital, and once the offering is closed, we are no longer involved with whether the company chooses to list shares on a secondary market or what occurs thereafter. Therefore, StartEngine has no control or insight into your investment after the close of the live offering. In addition, we are not permitted to provide financial advice. You may want to contact a financial professional to discuss possible investment outcomes.
For Regulation Crowdfunding, investors are able to cancel their investment at any point throughout the campaign up until 48 hours before the closing of the offering. Note: If the company does a rolling close, they will post an update to their current investors, giving them the opportunity to cancel during this timeframe. If you do not cancel within this 5-day timeframe, your funds will be invested in the company, and you will no longer be able to cancel the investment. If your funds show as ‘Invested’ on your account dashboard, your investment can no longer be canceled.
For Regulation A+, StartEngine allows for a four-hour cancellation period. Once the four-hour window has passed, it is up to each company to set their own cancellation policy. You may find the company’s cancellation policy in the company’s offering circular.
Once your investment is canceled, there is a 10-day clearing period (from the date your investment was submitted). After your funds have cleared the bank, you will receive your refund within 10 business days.
Refunds that are made through ACH payments can take up to 10 business days to clear. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the bank, but we will do everything we can to get you your refund as soon as possible. However, every investment needs to go through the clearing process in order to be sent back to the account associated with the investment.
Both Title III (Regulation Crowdfunding) and Title IV (Reg A+) help entrepreneurs crowdfund capital investments from unaccredited and accredited investors. The differences between these regulations are related to the investor limitations, the differing amounts of money companies are permitted to raise, and differing disclosure and filing requirements.
