Introduction

iatrixAir® designs and provides AI-machine learning, cloud based indoor air quality solutions that are mission critical with fast detection, fast protection and fast alerts/information. We sell through contractors to small and large businesses, schools/universities including sports locker rooms and assisted living facilities.

Problem

Throughout history, airborne pathogens such as Measles, Smallpox, SARS, MERS, Tuberculosis, Influenza including Spanish Flu and now CV-19 with its variants, all have the same characteristics in that they are transmitted person to person and may linger in the air in enclosed spaces. However we are still losing this race for safe and healthy air and are unprepared for the next pandemic.

Indoor Airborne Pathogens Spread Quickly Through The Air

Airborne Pathogens are aerosolized - that’s the problem to solve. Fast air exchanges or ventilation and first pass inactivation solves the problem. Faster Is Safer™.

"Today the Administration is launching the Indoor Air Quality Building Challenge, a key component of the President’s Plan, that calls on all building owners and operators, schools, colleges and universities, and organizations of all kinds to adopt key strategies to improve indoor air quality in their buildings and reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other airborne pathogens."

Solution

We automate the process of detecting, destroying pathogens, and providing alerts using edge processing and AI-machine learning analytics to make the solution automated and predictive. Our solution is designed to be mission critical with sensors operating every 10 seconds and with first pass remediation or destruction of airborne pathogens. Again, Faster is Safer™.

Business Model

Our Value proposition is to reduce employee absenteeism and energy costs while attracting more customers with safe and healthy air to increase revenue plus predict the problems so facilities managers/building operators can take action.

Our revenue is based on both sales of the cellular sensor gateway and air exchangers and monthly software subscriptions. We use Independent Representatives to recruit qualified commercial Contractors who sell the solution to Facilities Managers/Building Operators-Owners, with our support.

Instead of a box on the floor that requires constant attention: iatrixAir® offers a “no touch” air quality solution with a monthly subscription including filters, lamps, installation and service. The Facilities Manager/Commercial Space Owner also has the option to buy the solution through a contractor.

New York City officials are set to propose...

New York City officials are set to propose indoor air quality regulations, legislation that has been in the works for nearly a year but found new urgency after heavy smoke from Canadian wildfires shrouded the skies along the East Coast. If adopted, two bills lawmakers are bringing forward Thursday would require the city to create standards to measure, monitor, report, and enforce air quality inside schools and municipal buildings. Officials would have 18 months to craft such standards, which would be more detailed than current city building and health codes, proponents say.

This is the start of the regulation of indoor air quality which will increase the demand for indoor air quality solutions.

    Pasadena, CA, (05/22/23). iatrixAir, Inc....

Pasadena, CA, (05/22/23). iatrixAir, Inc. announces its indoor air quality solutions exceed the CDC’s enhanced strategies for Indoor Air Quality for building owners and operators.

The CDC released recently enhanced strategies for building owners and operators and recommends the steps to take to improve ventilation and help prevent respiratory illnesses from spreading in indoor spaces. A layered approach that combines ventilation strategies with other infection prevention and control measures is recommended. With each added layer of protection, the risk of exposure to respiratory viruses decreases.

CDC recommends 5 air exchanges per hour and iatrixAir can achieve 10-12 depending on the cubic feet of space. iatrixair uses HEPA H13 filters which are more effective than CDC’s recommended MERV13 filters. CDC recommends air purification, UVC light, and C02 sensors and iatrixAir’s solution has all 3.

Attached is the full press release and the CDC link.

We have been very busy since the holidays and have a number of updates for everyone. Our apology for not posting sooner.

    1. iatrixAir received its first customer purchase order for $100K
    2. Greg Piche, 25 years with The Clorox Company joined iatrixAir as VP of Product Strategy
    3. We have added Lynda Klimas, Chris Klimas formerly in key roles at the The Clorox Company as advisors in marketing and business development

And we are extending the offering further on Netcapital and are updating the offering, our website and with a revised slide deck in the coming weeks. While the surprise collapse may affect funding strategies for many startups, we continue to bootstrap and will start installing sensor gateways at alpha sites in late April.

Please find a great article why we need a revolution in indoor air quality. One of the best that I have read lately.

Happy Holidays. End of the year update:

    1. Our relationship with University California-Riverside, County of Riverside and City of Riverside continues to grow with business opportunities and fund raising.

    2. There is lots of activity to push forward new standards for indoor air quality. Drinking water has standards so why does the air we breath not have standards?

    3. Knowing the air quality is a key part of our solution so we are working to build 15 Sensor Cellular Gateways to install in commercial restrooms, classrooms, transit buses, low income housing and sports locker rooms as well as Winery Tasting Rooms in the March/April timeframe.

    4. So 2023, we start alpha and beta builds and installs with customers per our plan. Funding will dictate how fast we move forward. To date: $21,965 raised and if we hit $25,000, Netcapital will provide additional marketing for our campaign.

    5. . With that said, we have extended the Netcapital fund raising to March 17, 2023.

Recently, ASHRAE, the key standards group for the HVAC industry released:

In general, operating at an epidemic appropriate state all the time will waste resources. The optimal policy will be one that defines appropriate controls for a normal state (including those spaces with higher-than normal levels of risk) with the flexibility to ramp up at appropriate velocity to match a developing epidemic.”

This policy statement defines a key part of iatrixAir solution as it performs today-detect fast, protect fast when needed and inform fast.

I attended virtually the White House 3 hr...

I attended virtually the White House 3 hr webinar on Indoor Air Quality this week. These comments by Joseph Allen are the reason why iatrixAir exists. The airborne pathogen root clause is now known after 1,000 years. Time to solve this problem.

From Joseph Allen-Harvard-Smart Buildings-White House IAQ Summit: “The original sin of the Covid response was the failure to recognize airborne transmission as the dominant mode of transmission…The early clues were obvious…nearly all spread indoors in underventilated spaces, and superspreading events w 90% attack rates that could not possibly be explained by droplet transmission. or everyone touching the same elevator button. The case for airborne transmission is airtight. This means that buildings should be the first line of defense.” #WHIAQ#HealthyBuildings

A very good article in Bloomberg on the...

A very good article in Bloomberg on the challenge of finding a public or commercial restroom in the US especially during CV-19 as many were locked. iatrixAir products and services can help solve the restroom challenge .

From the Bloomberg article: Most of us have experienced the challenge of finding a public restroom, but for many, restroom access isn’t just a matter of convenience — it’s a serious medical issue. As the respective CEOs of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and the Celiac Disease Foundation, we hear far too many stories from patients with digestive disorders detailing the physical pain and extreme anxiety — not to mention traumatic accidents — they’ve experienced when restrooms aren’t readily available.

So support the Open Restroom Movement. In partnership with other nonprofits, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation launched the Open Restrooms Movement this year to call on the public to recognize the issue of restroom access as a basic human need

Polio traces are showing up in sewage system in countries even though most in these countries are well vaccinated including the UK and US. Polio is another virus that can be spread via person to person transmission when they sneeze or cough and be in aerosol form which means they can travel further and linger in the air. iatrixAir aeroTru3 solution can be a third layer of defense against these airborne pathogens by removing airborne pathogens quickly from the air with HEPA Medical Grade H13 filtration and intense UVC light that destroys on first pass.
