Laketricity est une entité du groupe Ciel & Terre, pionnière du secteur et leader mondial du marché du solaire flottant qui a d'ores et déjà déployé plus de 250 projets à travers le monde. Née en France en 2006, Ciel & Terre a créé et breveté en 2011 sa propre technologie de solaire flottant. Elle est désormais présente dans 30 pays, et prévoit de mettre en service pas moins de 600 MWc de projets aujourd'hui en cours de développement. Avec 620 MWc d'ores et déjà installés, elle compte donc à son actif un total de 1,2 GWc de projets solaires flottants.
