Company Description
The beauty and personal care industry produces over 120 billion units of packaging each year. Most of which is plastic and ends up at sea or in landfill. Our mission is to change this.
Our aim is to launch world class innovative products and technologies in the most environmentally responsible way.
We have three omni-channel brands:
- WE ARE PARADOXX the planet-positive haircare brand where biotech science meets Irish nature.
- MINI HUMANS the baby personal care brand that is good for your kids and good for the planet, launching Spring 2023
- SUPERNOVA the high-tech multi-tasking hair tools brand with sustainability at it's core.
Monetisation strategy
All 3 brands are omni-channel so will operate in retail and D2C as well as via distributors and the travel retail industry.
In 2022, B2B sales into retail stores (online etailers + offline) accounted for circa 92% of sales.
This was complemented by a small percentage of 5% to distributors, followed by D2C sales (own ecommerce + Amazon) of 2%.
In 2023 and beyond we will prioritise growing our D2C channel in order to enhance our direct relationship with our customers and growing our community. Distributors will also play a bigger part next year and beyond due to the recent contracts signed with our new Chinese, Scandinavian and Travel Retail distributors with more to follow.
Currently our biggest market is the UK with sales in 2022 being 70% UK, followed by 15% EU, 10% USA/Canada and 5% rest of world. Our strategy in 2023 is to maximise sales in our UK home market. In 2024, we have plans that will see USA/Canada overtake the UK through large scale retail partnerships.
