His early fondness for spirits, sparked by memorable scotch-tasting sessions with his father, fueled his journey into the industry with his brother-in-law, Brian Marks. With no prior experience, he identifies as a "knucklehead entrepreneur," who appreciates those with the willingness to learn. It’s that willingness that brought him and Brian around the country, learning the craft alongside some of the nation’s finest spirit makers. Believing firmly in the adage, "It's better to be loved by a few than liked by many," he and the team at Belle Isle strive to create exceptional spirits that resonate deeply with its customers. Brian MarksCo-Founder and Chairman of the board (Part Time)Brian is the cofounder and Chairman of the Board of Belle Isle Craft Spirits and as CEO of Bonfire.com, a custom apparel e-commerce platform he co-founded in 2011.  Brian believes that empowering people and connecting communities is the key to building companies and products. Brian works 20 hours per week for Belle Isle., Brandon DayDirector of MarketingBrandon Day is the Director of Marketing at Belle Isle Moonshine, overseeing all marketing, digital, creative and brand efforts and strategy. In his time with Belle Isle, he has overseen the expansion into new product lines and channels; secured national press placements in Bon Appetit, Forbes, Southern Living, and Vogue; and launched the company's first full e-commerce platform, shipping Belle Isle Moonshine to customers in over 35 states. Michael ProvanceDirector (Part Time)Mike is an experienced and visionary leader in the technology innovation space, with a proven track record of scaling growth ventures. As Managing Partner of Alpine Growth Partners, he provides strategic operations advisory services to small businesses seeking to overcome barriers and achieve growth. His expertise in operations management, digital transformation, and data and technology strategy has been sought after by leaders in a variety of industries, including financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, and U.S. Department of Defense commands. Mike's background in early-stage investments in computing, medical, and environmental technologies has contributed to multiple successful exits for investors, generating over $200 million in value by building high-performance, growth-stage ventures.  Mike holds a Ph.D. in Strategy and Innovation from George Washington University, an MBA from Penn State, and a BS from MIT.
