Company Description

Gravity Jack is an augmented and virtual reality agency with an unyielding pursuit to create a world where technology and the human experience intersect through augmented reality.

Gravity Jack has three component divisions: Software development agency, Intellectual property development and licensing, and gaming. The agency allows it to stay cutting edge, have short-term wins, and train up developers, while the game has long-term propositions and smooths out the ebb and flow of client projects. It is one of the United States’ oldest Augmented Reality (AR) companies, specializing in augmented reality, virtual reality, computer vision, gaming, and machine learning (AI) technologies. Founded in 2009 for the purpose of AR advancement, Gravity Jack patented key early-stage AR methods. Gravity Jack’s agency service model has developed premier custom software solutions for some of the world’s most respected organizations. The company is at a crossroads of three major industries, AI, Mobile Augmented reality, and Mobile Gaming. These combine to form an aggregate market size of $1.8T, a massive market opportunity. The closest competition to War Tribe by Gravity Jack is Ingress Prime, an AR game where players use geolocation to take over and control portals. The game War Tribe also has portals and holographic communication, and the world of ‘2133’ is accurately geo-overlaid over the world of today.

Agency and Patent Licensing are revenue-generating activities, while AR Game Products are pre-revenue. The company plans to start the development and testing stages of War of Tribes after this funding raise. It estimates 1 year for the development of the minimum viable product. On the IP licensing side, the company has licensed its patents to large companies like Samsung, T-Mobile, LOREAL, Blippar, 8thWall, and others, while actively pursuing infringers. On the software development side, it has developed premier custom software solutions for Mitsubishi, Toyota, NASA, Intel, Ford, Dell, Samsung, Lockheed Martin, the Department of Defense, and the reference project for the Meta Oculus Quest2 commissioned by Meta, a source code that is now available globally to developers for creating applications on the META Oculus2 platform. Revenue in 2022 was $1.58 million, nearly the same as in 2021 ($1.499 million). Gross margins as a percentage of revenues decreased from 71% in 2021 to 62.6% in 2022. The net loss for 2022 was $69.7k, compared to a $734k net profit in 2021.

Use of Proceeds

The company plans to use the proceeds for R&D, company employment, working capital, and platform fees.
