Kari Rushing, Owner and Executive Chef
Kari grew up in Front Royal, Virginia, just a 10 minute drive from the location they are seeking to purchase for Vault &; Cellar. After cooking at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants in Washington DC, and under a James Beard award winning chef in New Orleans, she returned back to her hometown to start a family. After starting at a well-known local restaurant before COVID-19, she managed to help them not only survive, but thrive through a pandemic. She is confident her skillset can help bring new life to the former-historic-bank-turned-restaurant they seek to purchase.
Ian Rushing, Chief Marketing Officer
Ian started his career in Anchorage, Alaska, but focused his skills running an award winning production company in the DC region. Telling the stories of non-profits and for-profits alike, he's learned how to use SEO, social media, and web design to engage an audience. These skills were recently proven when opening a meadery, that climbed to the top 3 search results for "brewery" or "winery near me", within a year of being open. Ian looks forward to helping take such a solid business idea to the top of googles pages once again.
