Verge Aero offers a seamless, user-friendly technology platform to make drone light shows easy to design and execute. As industry pioneers, we are excited to demonstrate the limitless commercial and entertainment possibilities of drone shows.

Our in-house R&D team built a fully integrated, easy-to-use system from the ground-up that’s specifically designed to create and deploy drone shows on a commercial scale.
In our first year of commercialization, we’ve done shows for AT&T, T-Mobile, Justin Bieber, the Philadelphia Eagles, President-Elect Biden, and many others. People are amazed by our well executed shows.
We are continuously discovering new implementations for our technology, from live entertainment to advertising, signage, and more.

Nils Thorjussen, CEO
Nils Thorjussen is the CEO and co-founder and of Verge Aero. He is a serial entrepreneur, previously co-founding two other entertainment technolgy companies: Element Labs and Flying Pig Systems. Nils holds a B.A. and B.B.A with highest honors from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.


Anthony Merlino, Chief Technical Officer
Anthony Merlino the CTO and co-founder of Verge Aero. He has been interested in robotics from an early age and has been deeply involved with a wide vareity of projects. Anthony holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rowan University.


Chris Franzwa, VP Software
Chris Franzwa is a co-founder of Verge Aero and leads its software design efforts. He worked at Lockheed Martin prior to joining the company. He holds a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rowan University.


Tony Samaritano, VP Flight Operations
Tony Samaritano is a co-founder of Verge Aero and leads its flight operations activity. He also contributes to software development efforts. He worked at Boeing as a systems engineer prior to joining the company. He holds a BS and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rowan University.
