The jersey was obtained by the consignor directly from the equipment manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Presented is a 1964 Los Angeles Dodgers #32 Sandy Koufax Rawlings, size 44, seven-button gray colored flannel jersey. The jersey has the very short sleeves characterized by this era. “Los Angeles” in team script with an underline angled on the front in blue felt. Player’s number “32" on the front left in red felt. Player’s number “32” also centered on the back in blue felt.
Red label Rawlings size 44 manufacturer tag is present in the front left tail of the jersey.Directly underneath “Koufax 64” is hand chain stitched in the familiar Rawlings factory stitcher’s handwriting and matches examples on hand. On the inside front tail of the jersey is a washing instruction manufacture tag with a “Set | 1964” flag tag.
The jersey shows definite signs of a season of wear, with what you would expect from a pitcher. There are no signs of any repairs or alterations at all to the jersey and it is in very good condition overall.
