Gerard Coughlin, Chief Executive Officer, Secretary, and Director
Gerry Coughlin is the CEO and principal owner of K9 Power Products, Inc. where he is responsible for the firm strategic direction. Gerry and his partners purchased K9 Power in 2015 after working closely with the brand as its largest distributor and seeing firsthand the product line effectiveness and customer satisfaction. Gerry is also founder and Managing Partner of Oakpoint Advisors, a financial services firm focused on alternative assets and direct investments. Gerry has previously held the role of Co-President of Vinik Asset Management, a U.S. based equity long/short fund, both in Boston, MA and in Tampa, FL. He spent the first 20 years of his career at Morgan Stanley where he was a Managing Director in the Institutional Equity Division in NY and Asia. He holds a BS in Finance from Northeastern University and is FINRA registered series 7, 9, 10, 63, 79 and 24. Gerry is an Executive Board Member of Metropolitan Ministries, a non-profit working with homeless and at-risk children and families in the greater Tampa Bay region.
Gerry's primary occupation is being the Managing Partner of Oakpoint Capital. He works 20 hours per week for K-9 Power Products, Inc.
