BackgroundAfter an Air Force career spanning three decades and six continents, Mr. Baker retired from the US Air Force with the rank of Brigadier General. From his early role as an F-16 Instructor pilot to his most recent position, leading the 12th Air Forces Southern Command where he has been a driving force behind many technology initiatives. He realized the importance of openness to new technology in maintaining the Air Force’s battlefield superiority in the world. Brig. Gen (ret) Baker now leads WiGL’s development of products for DoD and commercial needs, among other roles.
