Company Description
In 2023, Willamette Valley, Oregon winegrower Jessica Cortell launched Cortell Collection as an expression of her passion, crafting wines that push the boundaries of possibility. She discovered her passion for vineyards at Croft Vineyard in the early 90’s. The seed for her wine brand was planted early and only now has come to fruition. In 2000, Jessica Cortell became the OSU Viticulture Research Assistant, and by 2002, she was pursuing a Ph.D. in Pinot Noir wine chemistry. In 2010, Jessica founded Vitis Terra Vineyard Services, a company that has managed premium vineyards across the Willamette Valley for the last 15 years. She owns Carlile’s Crest and Cortell Rose Vineyards in the Eola-Amity Hills and leases several other small vineyards. The Cortell Collection wines come from vineyards farmed by her team.
