Osito Restaurant is about warmth, the feeling of being cared for absolutely. From the first greeting to the last goodbye, it is about reminding people to love each other. The dining room is comfortable with stone and wood tones. Everything from the hearth to the tables and plates are crafted locally, by people we believe in. The service is elegant yet friendly, as if you were at a dinner party with friends who love to celebrate over food and drink.

Osito has been doing pop-up restaurants all over the Bay Area and now they’re getting ready to open their first permanent location in the Mission District of San Francisco.
Their philosophy is to create an experience that is special and memorable.
Their staunch commitment to service extends not only to their guests, but to a thriving ecosystem as well.
Osito seeks to further the conversation on health, sustainability and fueling the local economy through cultivating relationships with local farmers, ranchers and producers.

Seth Stowaway, Chef & Owner
Seth has an esteemed 15-year Bay Area culinary background, including positions on the opening team of Bar Agricole under Chef Brandon Jiu, and as executive chef of the Bar Agricole Group, running operations at Bar Agricole, Trou Normand and Obispo Rum Bar. Seth always knew that he loved people and wanted to be of service to them, and he found a way to do that through his passion for cooking and community. At Osito, Seth wants people to feel like they are a part of something special from the minute they walk through the door, to their very last bite.
