Bywater & The Bakeshop

Bywater opened in the summer of 2015, at the beginning of Rhode Island's growth into a food and dining destination. Founder/owner Katie came from a background in farmer's markets and fine-dining restaurants to the quirky, midcentury garage space in Warren's downtown with the dream of running a neighborhood hang-out... one that had cultural and community relevance, and a sense of place.

One of our guiding values is putting our energy into projects we feel further the goals we share as a community, whether that's environmental stewardship, social justice, art, food systems... you get the drift. As one of our key investors at this level, we'd like to partner with you in helping raise funds and awareness for the nonprofits and charities you support. We'll show up in-person events with food and drink, as schedule allows; donate gift cards and raffle items; be a third space for you to hold meetings or events; and help amplify your message on social media.
