Company Description

Hyperlight has developed a breakthrough low-cost concentrated solar power (CSP) technology. CSP uses the sun to make steam for industrial processes. Heavy industry is under enormous pressure to decarbonize and we offer an unprecedented low-cost platform to do it.

Key Deal Facts

$14 million-funded Flagship Product — We developed our product with funding and technology development support from the US Department of Energy, California Energy Commission, and the Southern California Gas Company RD&D Program.
Successful Projects — Hyperlight has built a 500 kilowatt thermal (kWt) demonstration project, held a groundbreaking ceremony for 1.5 megawatt thermal (MWt), first commercial facility, entered into an MOU with an independent oil company for a 5 MWt project, and initiated a project with an early-stage technology company to showcase the world's first integration of CO2 Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology with solar process heat.
Hyperlights vision is to be the largest CSP company in the world in five years. We have commercial traction and a pipeline of 150 MWt of project opportunities in the next 12 to 24 months. A successful close and execution of this pipeline will get us closer to that goal. The investment we seek now enables this scaling and allows investors to participate in this scale-up success.
