The Macallan single malt whiskey distillery was officially founded in 1824, but farmers had been making whiskey in the area for centuries. The Macallan is one of the world’s top selling brands of Scotch whisky, usually ranked within the top 3 global whiskeys in terms of sales and has been referred to as “the Rolls Royce of single malts.”  #MACALLAN2 is a bottle of 40 Year Old Macallan Single Malt Scotch. Left undisturbed in sherry seasoned oak casks for four decades, #MACALLAN2 is one of 500 bottles released in 2016.
