Originally exhibited as part of Gagosian’s 2018 exhibition, “AMERICA TOO,” this acrylic on canvas painting is a collaboration between renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami, and American designer Virgil Abloh. This dense work features layers of Murakami’s skull motif, overlaid with a hybrid design combining both artist’s signature symbols (Abloh’s arrows and Murakami’s Mr. DOB). The pair previously collaborated for two prior exhibitions, as well as various collectibles and fashion items.
