Leah Tremblay



CFO


Leah aligns the team and resources towards achieving Green Ninja’s goals with her experience in entrepreneurship, finance, and public accounting. Leah establishes external partnerships and builds value through exceeding customer expectations. Having successfully started a small business in a remote part of Canada out of highschool, she recognized she needed foundational business skills to scale any enterprise. After obtaining a degree in Business Administration from SJSU with a concentration in Finance, she worked in public accounting and corporate finance to further develop her business acumen for the purpose of using business as a tool for doing good in the world. Leah is a lifelong learner who enjoys reading, trail running, and spending time with her family outdoors.



















Brett Hicks



Vice President of Sales


Brett is Vice President of Sales. His 36 years of experience includes directing regional and national sales teams at McGraw-Hill, Pearson and HMH. Brett served as VP of Sales, State Adoptions for McGraw Hill leading a national team consisting of more than 100 employees and achieved sustained annual growth of 19% that exceeded forecasted expectations. His team's accomplishments include delivering a record $160 million in sales revenue. Brett's extensive industry knowledge and experience provide the insight necessary to lead the Green Ninja sales team to success in both State Adoption and Open Territory sales campaigns. Brett has a passion for Tex-Mex and the Dallas Cowboys...in no particular order.
















Matthew d'Alessio



Science Director (Part-Time)


Matt leads the curriculum team and helped design the program from the ground up using the Next Generation Science Standards as the core framework. Matt was one of the chief writers of the 2016 California Science Framework that guide science instruction for the six million public school students in California. In the past, Matt was a high school Earth Science teacher in an urban public school, a research scientist at the U.S. Geological Survey, and a Professor at California State Northridge where he taught science to university students and future teachers.


















Huong Cheng



Creative Director


Huong is the Creative Director at Green Ninja with 7+ years of experience managing projects, leading new product development, and ensuring the right look and feel is communicated throughout all channels. Huong leverages a background in art and storytelling to help create compelling experiences for teachers and students. She completed her BFA in Animation/Illustration at SJSU and now is actively immersed in the study UXUI. Huong enjoys drinking milk tea, traveling, and trying out new local restaurants.
















Edward Brennan



Strategic Advisor


Edward Brennan is an advisor to Green Ninja. During his executive leadership Edward led various companies through their development, financing, and successful exits. These include Nexus, CryoCor, UroSystems Inc, and HemoSense Corp; presently he is CEO of Abram Scientific. Edward holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Biology and a PhD in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He has served on the Board for multiple companies, both public and private, and volunteers as the House Manager for the Center for the Performing Arts in the City of Mountain View.
