COO & Director


Scott has extensive experience leading venture-backed technology companies as CFO / COO as well as advising early stage companies on business strategy, commercialization and fundraising. Key accomplishments:
Fundraising: Raised over $400 million in equity, venture debt and commercial debt.
Growth: Examples include $3 million to $140 million; $5 million to $20 million; $10 million to $30 million and pre-revenue to $10 million (exit). Registered one company for IPO with Goldman Sachs as lead underwriter.
Operational Efficiency: Examples include achieving 4x increase in revenue per FTE and achieving 100% marginal operating leverage. Implemented ERP systems and attained SOC-1 certification.
M&A: Acquired four companies with combined value greater than $250 million, and sold one. Responsible for developing strategic frameworks, identifying targets, executing transactions and leading post-transaction integrations.
Scott graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and served seven years as a commissioned officer before entering the private sector. He holds an MBA from the University of Washington.















Eric Ball



Board Member


Eric Ball is a technology finance professional, investor, and board member. He is Co-Founder and General Partner for Impact Venture Capital, which makes early stage investments in technology companies. 
He also chairs the Board at Archimedes Tech SPAC (went public on 3/11/2021) and chairs the Audit Committee at Glu Mobile (a publicly-traded leader in 3D freemium mobile gaming). Eric chairs the board at capital market startup CapConnect+ (which he co-founded). He serves as a board advisor to Kyriba Corporation (leading provider of software for treasury and cash management), and to several other Impact VC portfolio companies.
Eric served in 2015-16 as Chief Financial Officer at C3 AI, which is revolutionizing the use of big data to make our power network and the Internet of Things more efficient.
From 2005 to 2015, Eric served as Senior VP & Treasurer at Oracle, one of the world's premier technology companies. While there he was named one of the 100 most influential people in finance by the editors of Treasury & Risk Magazine. Prior to joining Oracle, Eric served in various finance roles at Flextronics International, Cisco Systems, Avery Dennison, and AT&T. 
Eric holds a PhD in management from the Drucker-Ito School, as well as masters degrees from the University of Rochester and a BA from University of Michigan. He is the co-author of the book 'Unlocking the Ivory Tower' (released in US and Japan) and has taught at three universities.

At Beats by Dre (and later Apple), Tiffany led product management and product marketing globally for on-ear headphones, a $550 million category. She spearheaded custom designs for high profile celebrities, athletes, and influencers, and boosted category sales by 28%. In under three years she had launched over 175 SKUs and reimagined custom product development, paving the way for Beats to quickly dominate the market.
For the last decade Tiffany has volunteered with the National Academy of Sciences’ Hollywood outreach program in Los Angeles, California, bringing together brilliant minds of science, tech and engineering with today’s most influential storytellers. Today they work with all major studios, inspiring more and better science narratives in mainstream entertainment. 
By pushing the boundaries of technology and engineering she’s launched award-winning products, won innovation research grants, and established profitable new lines of business. Tiffany’s entrepreneurial spirit, solid technical chops, and get-it-done mentality set her apart as she drives innovative products to market.
