Amanda McVay is the Group Vice President of Marketing And Digital for Meijer, Inc., the Grand Rapids-based retailer that operates more than 240 supercenters and grocery stores in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
Amanda joined Meijer in 2012 and held various positions within merchandising, and grocery before being promoted in 2020 to her current role.
Prior to her current role, Amanda served as Group Vice President for Grocery as well as Director of Merchandising for Dry Grocery, where she was accountable for leading the merchandise buying, category management, and brand development team.
Prior to her employment at Meijer, Amanda spent 10 years in various merchandising positions at Target. She held both buying and management roles across Hardlines, Home Goods, Grocery, Consumables, and Healthcare in Minneapolis.
Amanda also serves on the Board of Directors for Feeding America, West Michigan. She also serves as an Ambassador for the Network of Executive Women.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and an MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
Amanda spends approximately 1 hour per week serving as board director for Uprising Food and her remaining time with other companies.
Jerry is a serial entrepreneur specializing in SaaS and eCommerce businesses. After founding two companies, Jerry started Retention Science in 2013 with the goal of helping businesses use AI to predict and enhance customer experience. The software is used by some of the most beloved brands, including: Dollar Shave Club, Olay, 3M, SHINOLA, and Target. Retention Science has been named one of the Most Innovative Companies in Los Angeles, and America's Fastest Growing Companies by Inc. Magazine.
Jerry has been a featured / keynote speaker on CNBC, Fox News, and at industry events like SXSW. In 2019, Jerry was honored by being named one of Inc. Magazine's Most Inspiring Founders alongside founders of Warby Parker, Beyond Meat, and Reddit.
In 2020, Retention Science was acquired by Constant Contact, where he now leads the company's Advanced Marketing, Ecommerce & Product strategy.
Jerry is an active Board Member, Angel Investor and he has helped launch several direct-to-consumer brands. He's also a limited partner of several premier VC and PE firms, including Retention Science's Lead Investor, and Forerunner Ventures.
