Updates:
Update 7/12/2022: The tenant reported that they cannot open the garage door. The Property Manager sent out a vendor to assess and the vendor identified that the wires are cut and the garage lines are snapped. The vendor recommended to replace and reprogram a new door as they believe the garage is unrepairable. This would cost $3,041.75. The PM is getting a second opinion as they do not believe a new garage door is needed. They stated that the vendor should be able to replace the chain/wire and not have to replace the door if it's not bent or damaged. Once more information is available, you will receive an update immediately.
Update 7/14/2022: The Property Manager had another vendor assess the garage door issue at 10917 Fidelity Ave and the vendor was able to complete the repair without replacing the garage door. The total was under $500 compared to the first vendor's estimate of $3,041.75 to replace the entire garage door. Once we receive the exact cost, you will be updated immediately with the invoice attached.
