Named after a historic ‘barrio’ or neighborhood of Buenos Aires where poets, musicians and creatives once convened, (and where famed writer Jorge Luis Borges said tango originated), we looked for a Pittsburgh location that fostered a similar vibe. The Strip District, a historic center of commerce, has not only preserved a lot of that same feeling but has harnessed this exciting spirit that comes from an ever-emerging community (both business and residential).
