Claudia & Daniel Samanez, Founders
In 2001 Claudia & Daniel Samanez founded AndeanSun in Peru. In 2004 they moved to the United States with their business and in 2010 became US citizens. Claudia is our knitter-crocheter in chief and supervises operations and selection and the development of yarns and colors while Daniel is the resident photographer and is also in charge of strategy and growth. They are makers and creators; and since they started their journey over 20 years ago, they wanted to be involved with meaningful products that make a difference for the better in people’s lives.
