M.O. Food was founded in July 23, 2020 during the covid-19 pandemic. I noticed a huge demand in smoked dried seafood products. After 6 months of studying the market and vendors and other competition I noticed that 97% of dried seafood products were imported, these then created the supply due to the overwhelming demand. So, I decided to become a producer creating smoked seafood products and poultry products. My facility is FDA and USDA licensed. We are currently selling at Amazon and Walmart and we also have 15 (and counting!) distributors. Customers appreciate the time we save them, the lack of involving a lengthy customs process, and our high-quality ingredients.

Within 6 months of production M.O. is already HACCP certified, and the facility is FDA and USDA licensed.
They were named an Amazon “best new seller” and Walmart “pro-seller” all within the first month of opening.
They were also able to sell out on Amazon Canada within the first month of release!

My name is Ojetemola Ojemuyiwa, founder and owner of M.O. Food & Distribution. Born in Washington DC and raised in Chicago, Mr. Ojemuyiwa started his journey as a driven healthcare IT consultant over 8 years of experience. Throughout my career I’ve been able to receive 3 degrees, helped my community in Chicago by providing Aviation programs to after school programs to CPS (Chicago public schools). I have also taught children with disabilities in the 4th and 5th grade at the same elementary school district 149 in Dolton IL. These special moments helped me develop my skills which later gave me courage to start and launch my business.
